Dear Customer:
The Board of Trustees and its employees welcome you to the Council Bluffs Water Works where Safe Drinking Water is Our Business. Please take a moment to read this information.
When you signed the Service Contract you agreed:
- To abide by the rules and regulations of the Water Works.
- To pay the established water rates and such other costs and penalties as you may
owe.
- To let us know immediately when you plan to move from or sell your property.
- To pay a security deposit. We will refund this deposit to you after four years of no delinquency on your bills. A delinquency is explained under Billing Information.
- To keep your water meter and shut off valve clear of obstructions and accessible to our employees at all reasonable hours.
- To pay your bill when due and payable.
- To allow our employees access to our meter and other equipment at all reasonable
hours.
- To pay the water rates established by the Board of Trustees.
- That our employees have the right to shut off your water service if you violate any of the rules and regulations of the Water Works.
